FAQ's:
WHO IS A HEALER? AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS GROUP?
If your life centers around holding space with or for people towards a more meaningful existence in our world, you are a healer! This group is appropriate for therapists, activists, doulas, movement workers, practitioners, creatives/artists, space holders, EMT’s, caretakers, brujas, community organizers, empaths, lawyers, nurses, school professionals, etc.
IS KETAMINE RIGHT FOR ME?
Ketamine is a safe and legal psychedelic being used as an innovative treatment for depression, PTSD, addiction and some forms of anxiety. Research indicates that 50-70% of patients prescribed ketamine for depression or anxiety experience a significant decrease in symptoms. As an adjunctive to therapy, ketamine serves as a catalyst for personal development by bolstering neuroplasticity while offering anti-anxiety and antidepressant properties. By helping form different neural pathways, ketamine offers fresh perspectives to old patterns, often likened to a mental cleanse.
WHAT REASONS WOULD RULE ME OUT FOR THERAPEUTIC KETAMINE?
There is a short list of conditions and life circumstances that would prevent someone from being a good candidate for this group. Our medical team will verify your eligibility during the medical intake before your admission to the group is confirmed with a down payment. In case you’re still curious, the following reasons are considered contraindications for ketamine use: active suicidal ideation, current ketamine abuse, uncontrolled hypertension, current life-threatening eating disorders, pregnancy, active states of mania or psychosis.
WHAT TYPE OF KETAMINE?
Your medical provider from Journey Clinical will prescribe legal and safe ketamine doses for the in-person group medicine sessions. Ketamine in this form is administered using a lozenge sublingually (under the tongue). We’ll follow their recommendations for the medicine journeys; sublingual ketamine is an effective treatment protocol for various conditions.
WHAT IS THE COST?
We are excited to offer this retreat at a lower cost than our last retreat in May. Please check back soon for this information, or join our waitlist here to be the first to know!
CAN I JUST ATTEND THE DOSING SESSIONS & SKIP THE VIRTUAL GROUPS?
No. We have intentionally chosen a therapeutic ketamine protocol to structure the schedule for this group. All components of the group process are considered prerequisites to enroll in the group. Ketamine works best therapeutically with preparation and integration therapy to fully absorb the benefits from the medicine in combination with therapy.
