Our Mission

The Art of Integration's mission is to heal the impact of trauma from adverse childhood and life events through psycho education, exploration of creativity, community connection and expanded states of consciousness.

Integration means coming into contact with all parts of our selves and connecting those scared or hurt parts together with our loving and wise parts. Integration also means applying the insights gained in therapy into lifestyle adjustments and healthy communication in relationships.

The Art of Integration currently offers an innovative treatment called Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). The Art of Integration assists clients as they delve into altered states of consciousness using arts or ketamine therapy to integrate the benefits and wisdom from these expanded states.

The Art of Integration practice will be expanding to include music, dance, poetry and drama therapy services for clients who have a passion for the healing power of the creative arts. AOI will also add MDMA and psilocybin treatments for mood disorders as they become legally available.

AOI specializes in working with clients who have felt "othered" or like outsiders in society in some way. AOI values inclusivity, diversity and social justice and welcomes clients from all identities and backgrounds.

Laura Foxx, LCAT, MT-BC

In addition to individual therapy, the Art of Integration also offers KAP groups, which Juanita co-facilitates with Laura Foxx, LCAT, MT-BC.

Laura Foxx (she/her) is a Creative Arts Psychotherapist and music therapist based in Brooklyn, New York (traditional Lenape and Canarsie territories). She received her certification in Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy from Integrative Psychiatry Institute (IPI) in Boulder, Colorado. She has experience working with the Queer and TGNC community, as well as Poly/Kink identities and altered states.Guided by healing justice and revolutionary growth principles, Laura's approach to therapy incorporates trauma-informed and person-centered care. Using her trained musical ear, she guides clients to become aware of patterns and narratives through listening with curiosity and openness. Sessions with Laura are eclectic, combining verbal processing with somatic experiencing and creative exploration. She considers the therapeutic process co-work, emboldening clients to connect with their deepest selves while confronting both unique and broad oppressive structures. Above all, Laura is passionate about growth, agency, and resilience in the quest to subvert pathologizing and colonized healthcare structures.

Jeanie Lee

The Art of Integration is currently supported by intern Jeanie Lee.

Jeanie Lee (she/her) is a psychedelic community leader and professional who has worked within multiple layers of the psychedelic ecosystem. Her transpersonal approach to psychedelic integration work is inspired by expanding the individual and collective consciousness in a way that is both cosmic, as well as grounded in the real world. She understands when to lean into a western, therapeutic approach or a more spiritual one, depending on the content arising in session.

Jeanie founded the Psychedelic Access Fund, a 501c3 nonprofit that provides individuals with financial scholarships for psychedelic healing, as well as the Lehigh Valley Psychedelic Society. She completed a year-long psychedelic facilitator program with SoundMind Institute, as well as Ketamine-Assisted Therapy Training & Psychedelic Integration Training with Fluence. She attended Sofia University for Transpersonal Counseling Psychology. Currently she is working as an interning therapist with AOI and as a Ketamine guide at Marpa Minds in NY.
